Perhaps one look is not enough to obtain a good idea.
Saying "I have seen this, I don't need to look at it again" hinders one to see images that no one may have seen before.
Don't be shy to tilt your head when looking at paintings. Look at an object from different angles. Keep or improve the curiosity you have as a child: that you see the world as always fresh.
